Full House

The Club can accommodate up to 18½ tables in play on a normal session. This includes the sixteen normal tables, table seventeen in the bay window, table eighteen in the bar and a half table standing.

The number of tables available to the duplicate session may be reduced by the presence of a teams match. The match will always take priority over the duplicate.

Competitions and simultaneous pairs may limit the number of tables available either due to the movement or the number of boards available.

Once all the available tables are full and more players arrive then the full house policy will be applied.

Players in the host system who arrived before all the tables filled up, will be reserved a table, provided they are not ejected due to the following rules.
If this is competition, then anybody who has signed up to play will take priority, even if they are visitors.
Visitors who have pre-arranged with a committee member to play, or playing with a member will be treated the same as a partnership that consists of both members.
Partnerships where both members are visitors will be asked to leave first. After that, players will be asked to leave in a “last in - first out” basis.

The director’s decision is final. If players do not like it then they must accept it on the night but are encouraged to express their feelings to the Tournament Secretary.
